I didn't do much today except hang out with Ben while he did his homework. Those packages he made look so cool! I just bummed around and watched "8 Simple Rules". When I went home, Becca came over and we watched "Ugly Betty"... yay! I love that show.
NOoo...I have Textiles tomorrow... and we always have to have a quiz, which sucks!

boredom...
Each class I went to today was sooo boring... *sigh*. I was tempted to not go to either my 2nd or 3rd class, but I did the right thing and went/stayed. I was getting restless in my 2nd class, so I think my fast pass fell out of my pocket at that time, but I didn't see it on the ground, so I don't know where it went. Yea, that didn't make me too happy, but at least February is almost over.
I ate dinner at Pasquale's with Ben after my 4-7 class ended. It took forever to find parking, so I did my silent prayer, and after circling a few more times, we found one right across the street, so YAY! God provides. Fettucine alfredo & pizza = YUM!
"Ferocia Coutura"... isn't that a funny name? Christian on Project Runway came up with it as his wrestling way. Haha, cracks me up. That and "Ramilicious"are pretty amusing. Chris from Project Runway is actually from San Francisco; now isn't that interesting?
My group member for my Intro to the Fashion Industry class says that we should be able to get an interview with a member of the IGIGI company next week... finally!
American Idol: I like Brooke and Ramiele. I hope they get far!
Girlicious: J.C. from Nsync showed up, so this girl freaks out and jumps on him. Hahaha. She says, "When you see a member of Nysnc, what do you do? You jump and scream. That's what you do."

good food...
A group of girls and I went to The Cheesecake Factory in downtown to celebrate Grace's 21st birthday early. The salad that Anna and I got was HUGE; it was large enough to feed four people. It seemed like the entree portion time flew by because I didn't really eat much of it.

It's been really nice having Becca & Grace back because there aren't very many girls that I'm close to to hang out with. Yes, it's kind of sad.
We three took the Koreans downtown today, and we let them venture off by themselves. YA-YA walked around downtown and then we acted like tourists at the Chinatown Gates. We went to look for the salon for Becca & Grace to get their hair cut. Becca's got a "bobbish" hairstyle now, and I find it quite cute. Grace could totally pull off the "baby doll" bangs, but she refuses to. Haha. Then we went back to the Sunset and bought groceries. Everything was closing, so we were runnig around trying to get everything. Then we picked up Anna at Extension and went to her house for SHABU SHABU! Ben came and the Koreans came back from downtown, so we were finally able to eat.

new friends...
For a slight moment, there was a faint rainbow where you see both sides of the arch!
On the bright side:
I got to meet Becca & Grace's Korean friends today, and it was fun! I only know a handful of Koreans... haha, so now I know four more. Becca, Anna, and I took them to San Dung for lunch, but I wasn't very hungry, so I didn't eat a lot. Then we took them to Japantown to walk around and to
It's another Monday tomorrow... oh joy... nothing like class in the morning. It's "supposed" to be sunny tomorrow... let's hope that it is! Okay, well I just checked Yahoo! weather and it says "partly cloudy". Boo...

sweet tooth...

Anna and I had a very lovely shopping trip today, and we bought some "necessities", such as long sleeve shirts to keep us warm and you know... jewelry. I LOVE Forever 21!!! Haha, but I have to admit that some of their stuff are overpriced. When they go cheap, they can have some great bargains. I got 2 long sleeved shirts (one royal blue and one magenta), a nice charcoal gray top, a black tube for
YAY! B&G (Becca & Grace) are back in SF! Thank God for their safe drive back and keeping Grace awake at the wheel. Haha. YA-YA reunion. :D And they brought back Koreans with them.
I don't like the cold rainy weather... I'm fine with rain as long as I'm indoors though and if there's no wind. I find it soothing to wake up/sleep to the sound of rain... it's rather therapeutic. :)

movies...

I don't know why people talk about their stuff in public. There was these two girls talking before class about their relationship stuff, but it seemed like a personal thing, so I don't know why they were talking so loudly about it. There were also these high schoolers talking so loudly before the movie and all they were talking about was the options of who to go out with. They're just asking for people to listen in to their issues.
Ugh, I have to go take the JEPET at 10 tomorrow.... hopefully I pass so I don't have to take the extra class. *cross fingers*

falalalala
I watched a movie called "There Was a Quiet Man" today with Ben and it was one confusing pointless movie; good thing it was a free rental.

oh my...

Project Runway is coming to a close soon, which I wasn't aware about. I think I missed 1 or 2 episodes... grr.. must watch the reruns!

We had our first "food tasting" and we had coffee. Er... it tasted okay... nothing really out of the ordinary.

rain rain go away...
I have a test for my "Science, Sport, and Fitness" class tomorrow, and I feel like I don't know anything; that's what happens whenever I have powerpoint classes. I focus too much on taking notes instead of listening... ugh. Screwed! I sooo have to study so I know what's going on.
The rain has come back... noooo!!! I want the warm sunshine!
I hate it when there's a lot on TV, but I also hate it when there's nothing on too.
Good song --> Ne-Yo - "Together"
".... I'm gonna be the love that's gonna last
And be the one that got your back
Ain't nothing ever never that bad..."

fashion madness...
Taking "fashion" classes inspire me to actually go out to the boutiques and look around. Normally I would just gasp at the price and walk away, but now I actually REALLY look through the racks and consider getting it. My "Intro to Fashion Industry" class is actually fun and time flies because we're just talking about fashion and people tells their own stories, but I hate how it's at 4:10-6ish. I don't like going to school at that time because I'd rather in the comfort of my own home doing whatever I need to do.
Tiffo & I are planning to go to WPL to ask if we can use their gym for volleyball practices. Yea, it'll be a little weird considering I haven't been there in about 5 years. Well, let's hope that we can find somewhere nice to practice volleyball this year, so we don't have to worry about the cold, rainy, or hot weather. God will provide!

I don't want to jinx it, but I might get to go to Europe in August!!! AHHHHH!!!! *cross fingers* I just wonder how a tourist is supposed to dress in Paris because I've heard that on
ly the poor people wear jeans and stuff. I don't think that'd be entirely true because I'm sure people wear their designer jeans and stuff.
I finally bought "Ugly Betty"!!! YAY!! I found it for $20.99 on amazon.com and then shipping was $2.98, which is cheap. I can have an "Ugly Betty" marathon party now and we can all wear matching T-shirts.. JUST KIDDING.

a night of adventure...

During the "Circle Time" for PET (Peer Evangelism Training), Ashley & Allan used a timer so they wouldn't go over time, and it would go DING DING DING! Louis decided to do a countdown, "4... 3... 2...1... YEAH!!!" Then Johnson asks,"Is that what you do for the microwave?" That kept me laughing for awhile.

L is for the way you look at me...
O is for the very one I see...
V is very very extraordinary...
E is even more than anyone that I adore...I had a rather nice Valentines Day, the best one I've ever had. Haha. I walked around Hayes Valley for the first time and went into some of the boutiques. There was this PRETTY black charmeuse or satiny dress that was "on sale" for $98. It was so nice that I was considering getting it, but I didn't because I didn't think I'd really wear it. Boo. I went to Houston's for dinner at the Embarcadero, and it was very nice. Dark, but nice. I'd recommend it because the portions are huge, and I couldn't even finish half... and this is ME we're talking about.
On a funny note: I saw people running down Market St. to the Ferry Building for the Pillow Fight 2008. It was pretty amusing seeing them run with their brand new pillows or pillows strapped to their bikes. There were feathers in the air while we were driving along the Embarcadero.

when things build up...

I'm working on my personal statement for my ADM application; I've been putting it off for awhile because I was too afraid of it, but it only requires two paragraphs and a max. of 1 page. This is it!
I hope everyone has a nice Valentines Day tomorrow. :)

wheee...

I have started new sketches for my ADM (Apparel Design & Merchandising) application. I have to seriously hurry up and finish it since it's due on Friday. Then my academic career is in the hands of the ADM staff, but my future is in God's hands. I SHOULDN'T be so stressed out about it and worry my head off...

I got out an hour early of my Intro to Fashion Industry class today. Whee!

sun(ny)day!...
Today was actually sunny! It's been so long since I've been in weather where it felt like burning. Like bums, a few of us sat outside Sunset Extension after Sunday school for awhile until it was getting too hot.
When I went to take a shower, my mom told me that we were going out to dinner with la familia and said she told me, but I know she didn't because I definitely remember if she tells me we have dinners.
Nothing really exciting to report today, so enjoy a picture:

Isn't he adorable? I want one...

saturdays...

Thank God because the teacher I had emailed yesterday responded saying that there is one space available, and I can enroll in the class.
There was youth lock-in today, and attendance was a little low in numbers due to Chinese New Year, but it was all good. I have pictures up at my photo album, so feel free to check it out.
1) "Tug-of-War"
2) Lift the "jeen doi" and spin.
3) Take the sock off with 1 foot.

formidable friday...
My textiles sustainability quiz wasn't as hard as I expected it to be... I got a little confused with the "fabric waste" being post-consumer recycling because I thought it meant waste, as in one cannot reuse. If i had only gotten one more correct, I would have gotten a 90% rather than an 87%... ugh.
I finally added another class, BUT as soon as I added it I found out it was only worth 1 unit. Lame! Now I have to try to add ANOTHER class to get the full 15-16 units. I could still try to add the other 1 unit class, but I don't want to have 6 classes, earning only 14 units.

I'm still waiting for this book to arrive. Ecampus.com said it'd take 4- 14 business days for it to arrive, but it shipped out on Jan. 18, which would make today the 15th day. Not cool.
This book does look pretty inside though, but my teacher was saying that they made mistakes saying one of the celebrities is Mandy Moore... how nice.
--> EDIT: The book DID come in the morning, but of all days, I was at school, so I missed it. Now I have to pick it up at the post office; I certainly have great timing.

new blog...
Oh how it's fascinating to read about textiles... no, not really. I'm basically avoiding it right now when I should be reading!!!! Aaaahhhh!
Thanks to Shaina for finally uploading this picture on Facebook. Haha.
Tomorrow is Friday, but I no longer find Fridays extremely exciting anymore. I blame school for that.
Check out the new Jack Johnson album that came out:
Sleep Through The Static <-- good stuff.
Oh yes, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I love this holiday... food, family, large quantity of oranges, and money!
