pretty in pink...

Quite adorable, right? And it's wearing pink! =)

Man, I'm tired. That CPR training took a lot of energy out of me along with everything else during the day.

I have to miss church again tomorrow because I'm going in at 9AM. I hate this since there's devotion prep during the Sunday School time. Rawr.

funnn...

I have been fortunate enough to hang out with people I haven't been able to hang out much, so yay for that! Shaina is back, so Anna and I went to eat Korean food with her at My Tofu House on Geary. I had Bibimbap for the first time, and it was soooo yummy! Pricey but good. Haha. Mmm... delicious. I'm making myself hungry right now by thinking of food. We also took her to Tuttimelon for "froyo" since she never tried this type here. I realized that I go at least once a week, which I find quite sad. I even went again today because Ben wanted some. In addition to hanging out with Shaina, I hung out with Angelica & Sharon twice this week. =) It was nice to just chill and spend time talking, laughing about funny stories and high school times. Good times, good times.

CPR training at Ext
ension tomorrow at 8:00AM. NooOooOoo!!! I don't know how many times I've been to a CPR class; then again, I can't say I remember how to do everything because I don't.

I'm waiting for Shaina to post up our random pictures on Facebook!

This week has been soo nice since I haven't had to work, but once Sunday hits, it'll be work, work, and more work with some days off.

Sunday: 9-1 (on call: 1-6)
Wednesday: 9-2 (on call: 2-6)
Thursday: 9-1 (on call: 1-6)
Saturday: 1-6

What's with all the opening shifts? I'm really hoping they don't use all those on calls because that would really suck and be one long day.

I watched "Little Black Book" on Fox at Ben's house while he was cleaning up his room. That was such a weird movie, and I kind of read the spoilers when I was reading what the movie was about. Oh well. I also played with the Photobooth on his Mac. Gotta love it.

Man, I'm really hungry, but once I wake up I'm not so hungry anymore. I usually look forward to sleeping and waking up just so I can eat. =P Why do I love food so much?

A-Okay...

Yay!!! I got an A in Textiles!!! I was hoping for one, but I wasn't completely sure what to expect. I feel sooo relieved. Mwahahaha.

I started at Coach on Saturday; well, I mostly did cashier training though, but at least I have an idea of how the register works. For the most part, I'm liking since everyone is really nice and I haven't had anything too challenging yet. Haha. Once I get the hang of things, I'll be better. :)

I feel so freeeeeeee since there's no more school. Whoo!

it's too windy...

It's been extremely windy these past few days, which sucks because things blow into my eyes and my hair goes everywhere.

Ben took me to Alamo Square, where there is a lovely view of the city and the house from Full House, but I don't really know which one it's supposed to be. They're supposed to be called "The Painted Ladies" or something... It's totally different from how it looks on the show. Since it was getting too windy, we left after walking around a little bit.

I can't really take very nice pictures these days... haha. Bad angles and light.

I went to the Academy of Art Spring Show at first to see Ben's display and to look at everyone's work. Talented people. Yay! Pretty work!

Grey's Anatomy & Ugly Betty! :)

Whoo! 100% on food final!

over and done with...

I'M OFFICIALLY DONE WITH SCHOOL!!!! My finals today weren't too bad; I had my food and urban tests.

David Cook won, and I was thinking that David Archuleta would win. I like them both anyways, so kudos to Cook. I knew it'd be the battle of the Davids because it's so gimmicky.

Grr....Dale, the Asian guy, got voted off Top Chef when clearly, the white girl, Lisa, should've been kicked off. I mean if he's won at least 5 challenges while she's been at the bottom for at least 3, shouldn't she just get kicked off? That's how it is... While they kick off the Asian, everyone else is trying to be Asian by cooking the food and stuff.

My first day of work is on Saturday from 12-7 and then I have to work on Sunday during church... grr... 10-3. I hope this doesn't keep up because I can't keep missing church, especially the devo prep meetings. The madness begins!

the sun goes away...

Like usual, the heat went away within a few days. *sigh* It sucks because now it's all foggy and cold.

I had my Coach orientation today, and it was long... They say I am going to start next week. I'm kind of nervous because it's all about customer service..

My cousin, Olivia, graduated from law school yesterday, I went to her graduation lunch yesterday in Cupertino. I saw my little cousin, Brianna, whom I've only seen a few times. She's so cute! She's probably about 4 or 5 now? She totally doesn't know who I am, so she was super shy. I haven't seen the baby, Peyton, yet though. They had to bribe her with a donut to take a picture.
I also went to Ikea and got a new comforter cover... finally.

Fellowship was interesting. We celebrated Diana's birthday by eating yummy over-frosted cupcakes and chips. Then we played that game called Satan?? I don't remember, but it was basically don't let Satan win. It got pretty eventful.
Volleyball practice wasn't very productive today because people were slacking off again. Ugh, whatever.

TWO MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL TO GO:
Mon: Into to Fashion Industry Final
Wed: Urban & Food Finals

"Desperate Housewives" was INSANE!!! What was up with the ending?!? Susan and another man? The whole Dylan getting killed as a baby was pretty sickening though.

it's getting hot in here...

YAY!!!! FUN IN THE SUN!!! It's been so long since we've had such nice hot weather. For the past two days, I have gone to the beach. :) When it's like this, the beaches are SOOO crowded and nearly impossible to find parking! I went to Baker Beach with Ben when it was even more scorching hot with burning sand. It was sooo nice stepping in the water, where it was nice and cool. I went to Ocean Beach with Becca today after school, we put on our bathing suits, and tanned/stepped into the water. It was cooler today at Ocean Beach that it wasn't actually hot enough to go all the way into the water. It was still nice though. Random ladies kept coming up to us; one asked us to fill up these cups of water and the other was saying that it's like we were sinking since we dug our feet into the sand. 2/3 of Ya-Ya! If only Grace was there!
Not really my best angle... esp. with the collarbone sticking out. O.O

Textiles & Kinesiology finals are OVER!! Ah! I feel SO much more free now. ^.^ But I'm just worried about how I did.

"The Office" was CRAZY!!!! SO much happened.
"Grey's Anatomy" is getting repetitive and not as exciting like it used to be.
I heart "Ugly Betty"! Who WILL she choose? Gio or Henry?!?!?

america's next top model is....

Whitney! Although I was originally rooting for Katarzyna, I still wanted Whitney to win because she is the first full-figured girl to make it this far. Yay! She won! I SOOO thought Anya was going to win because she was always #1 in everything. They got to walk in a Versace fashion show....ahhh gorgeous!

I am loving this weather because it is HOT! ^.^ Whoohoo! Time to wear dresses and shorts. It's so sad because we can only wear t
hem like 5 times a year here.

Kinesiology final is OVER & DONE with! I am nervous though because I don't know how I did. I guess I got at least 75% of it correct. Let's hope so. =P

Textiles final on Friday! The T.A. sent us our points up to now and I have the 3rd highest grade in the class. :)

I finally got a bubble dress from Wet Seal! It's magenta and satiny. Even though I don't have anywhere to go, I really wanted that kind of dress, especially when I tried it on at Forever 21. It was $20, which is okay, but it was cheaper than Forever 21 though.

Ugh. P.M.S. That only means one thing... that time is coming soon. Watch out, Kathy is cranky and moody!

I tried on my mom's old pencil skirts from the 90's and CRAP are they small. I fit them 95%... depends how high I pull them. =( Everything hangs out... so ugly.. I had to suck in like crazy and got a cramp when I was trying to put them on. So... my grandma is going to take them out for me.

My grandpa had a dream that I got married and thought it was real. O.O Considering I'm the 4th youngest out of 12, that kind of says something. Two got married already, so that means there's 6 ahead of me. Yea... strange.

OH EM GEE.... BECCA!!!! CRAZY AND LUCKY!!!!

that time...

Well, it's almost the end of the school year, which only means one thing --> FINALS. Ugh. Wish me luck. I soooo need to get a good grade on my Kinesiology final, so I can get a B or something. I have my textiles final on Friday too, and I guess I'm doing pretty okay in that class, so I hope I do okay to boost up that A-.

On "One Tree Hill", that scene with Skills and Deb... ugh... disturbing! Oh my gosh... what Lucas says to Peyton... poor girl.

I hate it when my foot falls asleep when I'm sleeping.

Textbook buyback prices are sooo low that I want to just try selling them all by myself now. I don't want to get $27 for a book when I can get $60.

Adorable puppy! Ahhhhhhh! I want one so badly. :( One day I will have one!

So there's going to be a new show called "Exiled", which is basically people who were in "My Super Sweet Sixteen". Those girls' families want to teach them a lesson since they're so freakin' spoiled by sending them to various poor countries. It's about time someone taught those girls a lesson.

Jeez! This woman on "Unwrapped" saved $214 with coupons. Instead of paying $254 on her grocery shopping trip, she only paid $79. Now that's hardcore coupon clipping. O.O

Aw... I just checked my research paper grade for food class and I got a 93%. I was hoping for something a little higher. Not cool!

intense...

Oh my gosh... Top Chef was SOOO intense during the Quickfire Challenge. Tsk tsk. Asian with a bad temper... pretty scary. It's even going overtime.

I finally got to choose two classes in the morning today, but nothing really too exciting. I didn't get my drawing class, which sucks because I really need it for one of my prerequisites. *sigh*. The instructor's name is not listed on the site, so I can't even email him/her to beg to let me in the class. Well, we'll see what happens.

Projects are over, but now finals are coming up. Wish me luck. I need to ace that Kinesiology final because I'm getting about a C right now. Crap. The fact that I got 20/20 on the essay doesn't really help; it's the tests that screwed me over. =O

I don't know how I'm going to balance everything this summer. There's SDC, volleyball, and Coach now. I don't want to keep asking for days that I can't work because I don't want to look bad and irresponsible. Something inside of me is telling me I shouldn't work, but then I do need the experience & money. I just need advice...what should I do? My parents aren't really much of a help because they just said I have to sacrifice things, but I CAN'T sacrifice SDC events. *Sigh*

crap...

Today was ONE of those days where everything was just horrible. I formatted all the sketches for the group fashion project last Monday and sent them to one of my group members. He was taking an awfully long time doing everything, and YESTERDAY early evening, he called me to say that the files couldn't open and he just typed everything on Microsoft Word. I was like okay... it can't be too difficult to just copy & paste everything into photoshop. Let's just say I stayed up until 3:30am fixing everything because not all the information was thorough and accurate. In addition to that, I had to reformat some stuff like move words up and move boxes around. Aside from that, I had to edit all the word documents and send them back to another group member to print out. It was taking too long to attach into the email, so I tried to upload onto photobucket, which was going to take about an hour, so I canceled and uploaded to flickr instead, and that was a little faster, so I basically left the computer on just so I could go to sleep. Thankfully I was able to wake up pretty easily.

I did my presentation and I didn't think I'd be so nervous, but you could hear some quivering in my voice. Oh well. I stood there for like a half an hour because the teacher really likes to talk. I couldn't really sit down because there were no chairs and I thought she'd ask me to like re-show pictures or something. Well, she didn't, so I just stood there awkwardly for that half an hour.

Then I went back to school and missed the bus. The only cool thing was that a bus saying "training" and it stopped and picked everyone up. The guy was like free bus ride for everyone.

After my Kinesiology class, I went home, got a phone from my group member saying that she couldn't print the pictures from flickr, so she asked me to print them out and bring them to class. Also, she wanted me to put all the designs on one page, which I didn't think would take so long. It took quite some time. When I was ready to print, the printer froze or something, so I had to restart. If that wasn't bad enough, when the computer was restarted, I opened up a program, and it didn't open for like 10 minutes, and I was getting REALLY annoyed because I was supposed to meet my group up at 3:00 and it was already 2:45. Things FINALLY started to print, but they were taking forever until I just did quick print. Then I missed TWO buses because they were right next to each other because the stupid light wouldn't turn green. When I met up with most of my group, the one I that said she couldn't get the pictures said that she redid it all. I was literally like O.O ... no freakin' way. It's like in movies when things are done but not needed anymore and the character just zones out. I was about to have some anxiety attack or something ... we had to trace all the drawings onto her papers and put everything together. We got to class RIGHT when the professor was about to take roll. I STILL can't believe I stayed up that late and we didn't even use my stuff.

ferosha...

Ugly Betty was HI-LARIOUS. :) Watch it, people!

Today wasn't too bad. I just had class, went to extension to meet with David, went to family dinner for early Mothers' Day celebration, and hung out with Ben.

Yay! 100% on my textiles essay! Thank goodness... one less thing to worry about.

Two essays for the food class! Since Sharon and I did our presentation last week, there's an exception for us to turn the other one the Monday after, but I might just try to turn them both in on Wed.

I have my presentation for my urban class on Monday. Whee

stupid drivers...

So Ben and I were on Lincoln Way when this car tries to cut in, but then he honked because there wasn't really enough space. The car tried again, so he honked again. Then it swerved in, and he honked once again. Then the car stopped, and this fat white woman came out screaming all sorts of profanity and she came up to the window. She kept yelling more stuff with more profanity (she didn't have a very extensive vocabulary) and then she flicked him off. After she got in her car, she flicked him off again. Jeez, what a jerk.

We watched Iron Man today, and it was not too bad at all. I wasn't sure what it was about, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd recommend it though.

I had to go to Union Square and take a bunch of random pictures for my presentation on Monday.

Ugly Betty & Grey's Anatomy!!!

Ew... textiles tomorrow.
