reading...

Omg... I'm trying to read for PR, but it's so boring. :( I keep getting distracted too. Ugh... this sucks. 7AM volunteering at CLIMB California. I have never said the word "whooooo!" so many times as I have today... 2 hours of that to cheer on the climbers. They basically started from the first floor and climbed the stairs all the way to the 52nd. I overheard someone saying that the first guy got there in 7 min. HOW THE HECK DID HE DO THAT?? What's the secret? I think that's pretty insane

Carnelian Room has the prettiest views of the city. It's like a 360 view, kind of. Gorgeous!

"...Baby One More Time" --> currently playing. It brings me back to 5th grade.

I'm not ready to go back to school.

Quote of the Day:
Dad: "Maybe they used green dye" (referring to the "spinach-flavored" dumplings")
Kory (cousin): "What's that mean? Meen dai?"

Everyone: "Green DYE". (giving weird looks)
Kory: "Oh, I thought it was some Chinese word and I was like,'I don't know what that is'."
haha... those Berkeley kids...

Finally got some pictures! :)

friday...

Here I am at home on a very sunny Friday blogging... Yesterday was fun. :) I went to Santa Ramen in San Mateo with Ben because last time it was closed when we tried to go. It was not as good as I expected it to be. I added some of Ben's fried garlic flakes, which was an overkill and made it super salty. Then we stopped by Color Me Mine to pick up some stuff that I made last week with some APhiO girls. Afterwards, we headed to Sausalito for some scenic views and then went down to Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands. It's hard to imagine that these mountainous and super quiet places exist like 15 min. out of the city. Later on, we watched "I Love You, Man", which was pretty funny, but I don't think these people should have taken these little kids with them.

My parents are home, which is good, but my freedom is gone now!

Volunteering at 7AM tomorrow. :( Waking up that early on a Saturday should be illegal.

waste...

What a waste. It's Spring Break and I'm at home. American Idol isn't even on to pass time! I'm sitting here trying to find things to occupy time so that I don't have to read for PR and Management. :P

accepted...

PRAISE THE LORD!!! I got into the ADM program. I'm soooo thankful because I remember what it was like getting rejected. These things rarely happen to me, so I'm so shocked that I got in! I totally screamed when I got the email. :)

BIG/LIL APPRECIATION WEEK was fun! I loved exchanging presents and spoiling my big. :) ROYAL DELTA LINE! We had Twin
Night tonight to celebrate the week, and it was fun hanging out with everyone. It's finally Spring Break, so everyone can start relaxing!!

G-RO tell me when to go! Love em! :)

I'm so happy that it's Spring Break!!! No stupid Malbert for a whole week and extra day! Oh gosh, I've never hated a professor so much before. He sooo makes Jing Liu seem like a beautiful gem. AIYYY.

I wonder what I will get to do this week. My parents are coming home soon, so no more freedom... hmm... I like having the house to myself even if my brother is there, or at least having it quieter without the parents.

money...

OMG... after March, I'm going to be SO broke; it's not even funny. :/ This week is Big/Lil Appreciation Week, so Anna and I went around different stores looking for stuff for our bigs. I also had to buy Ben's birthday present today, which added to the cost. Then I was planning on treating Ben to dinner for his birthday at Houston's. If I didn't feel poor before, I certainly do now. AHHHH. I'm not really getting any hours to work and even if I did have hours, I wouldn't really have much time because there's so much to do.
Right now APO is keeping me happy and busy. I like meeting all these new people and trying new things. I love my G-Ro pledge class, Royal Line, and Paper Family! I just wish I had more money to keep up!

Anna and I totally went everywhere. We went from Serramonte to the Korean market, Ross, and Sunset Super. My total at Ross almost made me cry...

Haha.I am totally loving this parental-free thing. I have been more relaxed having no one nagging me or popping in randomly. I just don't know why parents and grandparents keep telling me to close and lock the door. You'd think it was common sense.

sore...

For an APO fellowship, we went bike riding in Golden Gate Park. We rode those 4 people cart-type bikes. It was fun, but now I'm super sore! What a workout. After bike riding, we were supposed to eat frozen yogurt but not everyone had lunch yet, so we had pho.

My parents left for the airport while I was waiting for people to finish eating their yogurt, so I'll see them in 2 weeks.

I'm sooo scared for these midterms this week! :(

♥ big...

Revealing was today, and it was so exciting! There was a delay in the beginning since they were waiting for all the members to come, so we pledges just did our thing. Man, the G-Ro class sure has a lot of games to kill time. Haha. They were so funny to watch. There were games along the lines of Zoo and Superhero; the dancing ones were pretty hilarious. We got the revealing of our families, and I totally got lost from the string; I went to the wrong family in the beginning. I'm starting to get used to this public embarrassment thing. I am in the family I wanted to be in!! I didn't really want to be in Rock because their color is green, but now I don't have to worry about that because I'M A PAPER!!! PAPPPPERRRRRRRRR! After many many hours, we got to the REVEALING!! When it was my turn and they dropped the curtain, I was totally confused because I saw a whole line of people. I had guess that it was Venus, but I didn't see her anywhere near me. After a whole line of people hugged me and said they were my big, they got to my REAL big, and it really WAS Venus! I'm so happy to be in that "family line" because it's the ROYAL LINE! Woot woot. Talk about fate. Jason's my great-grand big, Shane's my god-big, Kayla & Nikki are my grand-bigs.. I think. I'll find out eventually.

Venus and I have so much in common it's scary. ADM majors, same LV bag (only hers is the bigger one), boyfriend (or former) Ben, she likes Top Chef, and etc.

So screwed this semester!! I find it sad that I'm more prepared for APO than for school. Even though I study so much for each test, my results do not show it. Even with I understand the concepts and know the definitions, it doesn't get my anywhere.

big...

It's Clue Week!! YAY! It's so exciting getting & giving clues. :) The game is SOOO on, but I think I know!

This whole going to school thing is sooo not working for me. :/ This is not a very good start. I hate all these powerpoint classes!!

There's an annoying girl on "America's Next Top Model"; she has got to go. There are a lot of
WEIRD girls out there. There's one that's fascinated with hemophilia and wishes she could get nose bleeds. It doesn't help that she has huge doll eyes... reminds me of a Bratz doll. For now, there's one that stands out to me. I thought she was Asian at first glance, but she's actually Mexican & African American.

FYI: There will actually be a cycle on ANTM for girls 5'7 and under. The sad thing is that 5'7 is considered short.

zzzzz....

This week has been so busy and crazy with midterms, sectionals, and work! The best way to end my school week was to watch "Wicked" with Ben! I was sooo excited! I had a great time at it and really enjoyed it. I hate stupid M(albert)'s class.

We had Sectionals at SFSU yesterday, where we and USF were the hosts. It was a lot of fun and a great experience since it was our first time. It was not fun waking up at 5:00am though. We were at school for almost 18-19 hours. How crazy is that? ROLL CALL was awesome! Great job to all the people who participated. MU ZETAAAAA!
