nooo...

Aww... the girl, Katarzyna, that I was rooting for on America's Next Top Model was voted off! Boo!

These days the people I want to win don't win. Too bad.

Well, I got the offer for Coach, and I think I will be accepting it. I'm just worried about how I'm going to balance everything in the summer. The manager said that we can work around the 2 week absence in August, so I'm glad for that.

Good news: I got a 20/20 on my Kinesiology essay.
Bad news: I added up my scores, and I'm getting a C. Crap... I gotta raise it up!

I'm hungry.... that's nothing new.

Funny thing that I can't believe my teacher, who is pretty old, said. We were talking about old movie theaters and stuff, and this girl said there used to be a drive-in movie theater in Santa Cruz and they just took it down recently. Then the teacher said,"The show is usually in the car, not the screen." At that point, everyone was like "Oh man, she did not just say that." Then this guy was saying how he hangs out at a skate park because we were discussing our communities, and she was saying how they probably don't hug or anything. Then in the background, you hear the guy say,"Oh we hug." How... interesting...

Oh no! There's only 15 seats left in the drawing class that I'm trying to enroll in, and my registration time isn't until next Wed. *cross fingers*

We're doing a children's clothing line, and this is one of the designs for my group project. I just formatted it, but I didn't draw any of the designs. Thank goodness.

Heidi & Spencer were on the Tyra Show... blehh. Yes, they are still together, no matter what the show says. I still don't like them. Haha.

Oh! I visited WPL today with Tiffo to see if we could use their gym for vball practices. BUT, Mrs. Finley said they can't lend the gym out to other churches. Boo. If only our church could build one... we're in need! It was so weird walking through the halls and down the back stairs to the yard. Everything looks the same. Mr. Morris still has his gray zip-up hoodie, but I didn't get a chance to talk to him. Oh well, next time. I felt sooo awkward walking around... I saw Victoria. Haha. I didn't get a chance to embarrass her like I said I would. Everyone looked like her though with variations of glasses. I told my mom that and she said it was the same for me... I guess so since everyone has glasses and wears a uniform. Hmm... I was just looking for the skirt, but I can't find it.

need to get out...

I want all the girls to be back in SF, so we can just have a girls' night out. It gets lonely when I don't have anyone to hang out with. I just need to get out more... blah. I have all these dresses just sitting in my closet, and I need an event to wear them to.

Today's weather was SOOO NICE! Sharon and I went downtown for a shopping day. I really wanted this bubble dress,
but I wouldn't have anywhere to wear it to. It was really cute though. Also, I wanted to get this shirt, but I didn't want to pay $16 for a shirt I wouldn't be able to wear out often. Boo. I got a $5.60 sun/beach dress at H&m though, so that was okay. We also went to the Chanel & Louis Vuitton store... pretty pretty purses. *sigh* And we can't afford them. So sad..

I'm really hoping that my dad will let me go to Europe, so I can just get OUT of the city and the country and submerge myself into the European culture and environment. *cross fingers* My mom is pretty supportive of it, as long as Ben's cousins are there accompanying us. Well, yea, otherwise I'd get lost since I'm not much of a directions person, especially if I'm in a foreign country.

I took this survey on xanga 3 years ago. Not everything has changed, but a lot has, I guess. I bolded the different things.

new episodes...

New episodes of Ugly Betty & Grey's Anatomy! Whoohoo!

I'm SOOO confused on my textiles paper, so I don't even know if I'm doing it correctly. Ugh. I just want to finish it and forget about it.

Tomorrow is FRIDAY! It's a somewhat whoo-hoo, but I just want to go out and chill. :)

David Cook's version of Mariah Carey's song, "Always Be My Baby", is awesome. Check it out.

Sharon and I wanted to use this as our bullet point for our presentation, but it didn't look right... oh well.

The "mini" meal at Ono Hawaiian BBQ is not that mini at all.. 4.99 or maybe 4.49 and I couldn't even finish it. It just has one scoop of rice instead of 2. I'm not too crazy about their macaroni salad though because they use so much mayonnaise.

I want some frozen yogurt with mini mochi & strawberries. Mmm... the frozen yogurt is an acquired taste, which I have come to like.

It's not definite yet, but I might be working at Coach with Anna. Anna, if you're reading this, you can be jump for joy because Monique called me back and asked me to come on Tuesday to present an offer or something. I might have heard wrong, but I THINK that's what I heard. We'll find out now, won't we?

CRAP! I just looked at my textile syllabus and the final is cumulative. That is SO not cool. It's bad enough that we have a quiz every freakin' week. L-A-M-E!

I'm hungry! Feed me! o.o

600 pages...

I got 2 issues of Vogue within two days to make up for the last 2 months, I guess, since it's a new subscription. The middle one is
660 pages long! Crap! It's like 1in. thick, or maybe a little more.

So, my I'm going to visit 3 boutiques with 2 of my group members, and one of them is like my parents' age, so she likes to do things early. Since she'll be driving, we'll all be going at 10AM. My goodness... so much for sleeping in! =P

I'm almost done with the sky on the mosaic! I should be able to finish it in a couple minutes. Then it's onto the flowers, and then I'll be done! Yay!
Edit: I finished the sky.

coool....

So cute!

There's one that said I sometimes wish I was a hippo, and I thought of Becca.

Well, I haven't blogged in a couple days since I've mostly been out or too lazy to write anything. Procrastination is a BAD BAD thing, and I have to stop doing it because it's starting to bite me back. I finished one paper for Kinesiology, and I have one due on Friday for Textiles... Aiy. Since I said I'm going to do a presentation for my urban class, I won't have to turn in a paper on Weds. I just hope I have enough information!

I saw Juno yesterday with Anna and some of the church guys, and it was better than I thought it'd be. There were some unnecessary crude remarks, but yea... nothing I can really do about that. :)

that's hot...

Haha, Sharon should know what I'm talking about with the "That's hot". Imagine a proper British guy saying that... hehehe. We had another bus adventure, only this time we had to run off the L while it was stalled, so we could go onto the 48 bus.

I didn't know that my Kinesiology paper is due on Monday, not Wednesday. Crap! I have to really get started after I finish blogging!

I liked this week's American Idol because Mariah Carey was the "mentor"; therefore, I liked the songs that they performed. She performed a new song "Bye Bye" from her new CD, which sounded really good, so I downloaded her entire album, E=MC
².

New song: "Bye Bye" - Mariah Carey
"... never knew I could hurt like this

And everyday life goes on like
“I wish I could talk to you for awhile”
“Miss you but I try not to cry”
As time goes by
And as soon as you reached a better place
Still I’ll give the world to see your face
And we were here next to you
It feels like you're gone too soon
Now the hardest thing to do is say bye bye..."

Actually, her new album is pretty good. There are some catchy songs.

Oh man, I need to sneeze, but it won't come out.

pain...

I'm sooo sore from yesterday's practice, but I feel good about it because that means I got a real workout. It sucked so much when I had to walk up and down the stairs... dahh...

For my fashion class, our new project is to design a line of 9-12 pieces and compare it to other labels, then we have to decide where we're going to sell it. The locations cannot be a major chain; they have to be the boutiques in the different San Francisco neighborhoods. Since the professor let us out 2 hrs. early today, my group started a little bit today, and I guess we got a good amount done, at least the basics.

Today was SOOO windy! Having long hair sucks during these windy days.

I did quite badly on my KIN355 midterm, which sucks. Ugh. On the bright side, my midterm grade for HM324, the food class, was raised to 98%. Whoohoo!

I'm having lunch with Kelly tomorrow, and I haven't seen her in like 6 years, so it should be interesting. Haha.

I decided to do a presentation for my urban class because I didn't want to write 6 pages, but it's still hard because I don't know what to say.

dive...

Well, the sun was here for most of the day, but by 5:00 pm, it faded away and in came the fog. Boo...

Today's volleyball practice was quite productive since Robby came. That made things easier for me because I didn't have to think of drills to do, lead them, and do them at the same time. He came up with a new drill where we had to go to the soccer field and actually dive for the balls. It was kind of painful and dirty getting down into the grass, but it was actually fun. I wish I could do an upper-hand serve. *sigh* I'm determined to be able to do it since it'
s been about 9-10 years of playing, and it's kind of sad that I still can't do it. Since Anna was there, we did lunges, so now my legs feel like jello.

Thank you to Anna for the SUPER EARLY birthday present. Haha. I love it. No more rusting and breaking, hopefully.

The heat was starting to kill my flowers, so I decided to hang them upside down and add them to the dried flowers collection.

Ehh... I don't like school; I don't want to go!!

Ben and I made linguine alfredo at first, but we didn't have heavy cream, so it wasn't as thick. I made a mess because the sauce started to boil over and it was too late to stop it. Whoops. =P Everything tasted pretty good though.

Sean's new car, the Toyota Yaris, is so cool and tiny! He doesn't have his killer whale anymore... what a transition.

welcome to the "spa"...

The weather is finally in the high 70's! Whoohoo! I L-O-V-E LOVE it! ^.^ I think it allowed me to wake up earlier than usual... BEFORE 11am even though I slept around 3:45ish. Since the weather is so nice, I finally get to wear my pink boxers for sleeping! Yes, I know I'm lame.

I had a very nice day yesterday due to the hot weather. I got a 100% on my textiles quiz for the first time, so that made me very happy. Sharon and I finally got a chance to hang out together, so we ate dinner with her family at home, and then we just laid around and talked. We had a "spa" day (as her
day would say) where we soaked our feet and stuff. We were in the middle of filing and buffing our nails when the though of defrosting the cookie dough came about. We basically never went back to the buffing and painting. We made cookies (mmm...) and pumpkin pie (ugh), and there were many couple cookies kissing when we took them out the oven. Haha. Anna joined us later, and then we watched "Nancy Drew"; I wouldn't say it was scary since it's a kids' movie, but there were some freaky parts.

Today is the last Youth Lock-in, so I hope a lot of kids show up.

After 6 years, a former very good friend of mine and I have made amends; thank goodness for Facebook. She added me, and then I felt that it was time I made contact and to get over the past. Now let's move towards the future.

another day...

Well, my professor got the midterms from the T.A., who had a bad case of the flu, so he didn't "disappear". It was crazy when she said that half the class got A's & B's while the other half just got D's & F's. Thank goodness I was on the A side, but I'm not happy that 11 people got a perfect score of 25, while I missed one question worth 2 points.

WEIRDEST dinner ever:
I don't really know what was up, but my mom was saying the rice was too had, but it was boiling over in the rice cooker... We had churng fun with no taste and snow peas with pork? Lovely...

Sharon and I had another bus adventure. We were waiting across the street from school with Sabrina for awhile and our buses weren't coming, so we decided to take the 17 that arrived. When we got to Stonestown, we saw that the 29 was coming, so she got off. We saw the 28, and we thought about getting off to go on it, but we really didn't want to go on a super crowded bus and deal with people, so we just stayed on the 17 and went to the West Portal Station. I've never taken the 17 all the way before, so it was weird how it went through and around Stonestown and then finally out. When we arrived at the station, we saw an L coming, but the people were SO slow getting off. We ran and put our fast passes through the machine things, and I got through first and ran for the L, but as soon as I got to the doors, they closed. I didn't realize that Sharon was still stuck at the machine thingy, so good thing I didn't get on the bus; I thought she was next to me the whole time. We decided to just go to the 48, and it said it'd come in 14 min, and then we waited maybe 3 min. and then saw another L go by. Boo. Finally, we decided to just go back to the station and wait for the L and if we saw a 48, we'd run to get it. We couldn't even get through the turning thingys with our fast passes because they kept saying "see agent", which was weird because mine had worked earlier. Sure enough, another L came, and just crawled underneath and got on.

"Idol Gives Back" was LONG, but it was good. It almost made me crying seeing the lives of people in New Orleans and Africa. One of the most touching moments was the finale where they sang "Shout to the Lord".

necessito el sol...

I expected the spring season to be a lot nicer than it is so far. The sun is taunting is because it's out, but it's cold, breezy, windy, and semi-cloudy. That is so not cool.

I'm very spacey these days, and I cannot articulate sentences and words in the correct manner. Maybe I am getting stupider over the years. Hmm...

I forgot to call in for the vote for American Idol, and I wanted to actually vote this week because this week is Idol Gives Back, so the more calls there are, the more money they make to donate to different charities.

I got a Chunky Strawberry breakfast "meal" at Jamba Juice for free today, and it tasted pretty good, but I didn't eat the banana chunks since I don't care for them. It was quite packed in that tiny little store with all these Chinese people, of course, and some of them looked like they were in high school. I guess they cut school just to get a free Jamba Juice.

I get easily annoyed these days, especially when people are in my way when I'm trying to get through a door or something. I hate how they think they can just stand in front of the door and not realize that people need to get through. If it's unintentional, I'll do the "polite" excuse me with a half smile, but if they are just gabbing away and see that I'm trying to get through but don't do anything, I'll give them "the look" and say EXCUSE ME. Yea... I'm just a bit sensitive now. I think I just have issues because I get so annoyed when people spell things incorrectly or use the wrong verb tense. Since I just don't want to be rude and correct the person speaking, I just mentally correct them.

I am 90% done with the mosaic, but that 10% is still A LOT of work; it'll probably take a few more days.

I have got to stop procrastinating! I have three research papers due near the end of April, so I better get ahead and start while I still have time. =P

fashion oh NO you didn't...

Some middle-aged Chinese lady looked like she was trying to be all hip and trendy, but it was just a fashion NO-NO. She was wearing some Chinatown looking striped sweater/sweatshirt looking thing with some pink camouflage pants with some big rimmed sunglasses. It was like a fashion disaster, and to top it all off, she had this Peter Pan type of haircut WITH a braid tail at the side; so basically, all of her hair was short except for that braid.

I really hate riding the bus. Whenever I ride the bus, and I think anyone can agree, I see all sorts of characters. There was
a bum drinking mouth wash in front of me; I thought I smelled mouth wash, but I didn't know he was DRINKING it. I think he was drunk off of it because he was babbling and talking to himself. Ugh. When I was going to back to school for my 4:10 class, there was a very fat man, who kind of looked like a bum, wearing a very large sweatshirt as pants. I'm not even joking, his legs were in the sleeves.

Why do bus drivers let these crazy people on the bus? I know they wouldn't let people who are a threat onto the bus, but these bums can just snap, especially the ones that talk to themselves.

Today was just a bad bus day. The buses took forever to come, which meant that they were all crowded. People were pushing me towards the windows so I was literally a few inches from the people sitting.

I need a chauffeur.

I totally bombed my Kinesiology test; I'm not even joking. I barely knew anything and I didn't
get a chance to review the last few pages of the power point slides. There was even a short answer portion to make it ALL better. *Sigh*

I got out 2 hours early for my fashion class, so that was nice. We got our grade for the group project, and it was better than I expected, but I'm not really happy with it. It's a stupid B.

It seems like a joke, but my professor for my urban class said that our midterms have vanished. We didn't really believe her at first, and we're like no way, you're lying. Apparen
tly, the class reader who helps look over the tests has "disappeared" with them. We're thinking maybe he could be in the hospital or something since the professor said that she has been trying to contact him, but he hasn't responded. We're like disappear as in disappear to Mexico? We SO better get it back because I know I did quite well on it. We might have to retake it in class or take it home, but she said that she'll boost everyone's grade one grade higher, which is really generous of her, but I want the grade that I worked for! If this was for any other class and I know I did badly, I wouldn't mind retaking it.

What a crazy day.

My flowers are in bloom. I've never really seen roses bloom . I didn't even know the roses were
really buds in the first place; they didn't look like the usual ones though because they had a tilt on the side. So cool!

I didn't realize what a long blog entry this was until I saved it and went to see how the pictures were formatted.

Watching "The Hills" will make me feel better.

It's not even warm with the sun out... it's so windy and chilly.

Oh yea, I had the interview for COACH yesterday, and I guess it went all right. I don't know if I really want to work there because of the timing, but we'll see what happens.

I don't have any snacks at home. =/

another week...

This week has gone by pretty quickly since I basically only went to school on Wednesday so far.

My mosaic is coming along; I hope I can finish it by the end of the month at least since Jennifer has been waiting for awhile. =P I'll get to the finish point soon!

We're going over the textiles midterm tomorrow... ugh, I hate going over tests because I get paranoid about how I did and then feel bad if I switched the correct answer to a wrong one.

rawr...

I need to go on vacation AWAY from home. I don't get to have the experience of going away for college because of this ADM major.

Awww... Ramiele Malubay got voted off of American Idol. So sad.
