another day...

Well, my professor got the midterms from the T.A., who had a bad case of the flu, so he didn't "disappear". It was crazy when she said that half the class got A's & B's while the other half just got D's & F's. Thank goodness I was on the A side, but I'm not happy that 11 people got a perfect score of 25, while I missed one question worth 2 points.

WEIRDEST dinner ever:
I don't really know what was up, but my mom was saying the rice was too had, but it was boiling over in the rice cooker... We had churng fun with no taste and snow peas with pork? Lovely...

Sharon and I had another bus adventure. We were waiting across the street from school with Sabrina for awhile and our buses weren't coming, so we decided to take the 17 that arrived. When we got to Stonestown, we saw that the 29 was coming, so she got off. We saw the 28, and we thought about getting off to go on it, but we really didn't want to go on a super crowded bus and deal with people, so we just stayed on the 17 and went to the West Portal Station. I've never taken the 17 all the way before, so it was weird how it went through and around Stonestown and then finally out. When we arrived at the station, we saw an L coming, but the people were SO slow getting off. We ran and put our fast passes through the machine things, and I got through first and ran for the L, but as soon as I got to the doors, they closed. I didn't realize that Sharon was still stuck at the machine thingy, so good thing I didn't get on the bus; I thought she was next to me the whole time. We decided to just go to the 48, and it said it'd come in 14 min, and then we waited maybe 3 min. and then saw another L go by. Boo. Finally, we decided to just go back to the station and wait for the L and if we saw a 48, we'd run to get it. We couldn't even get through the turning thingys with our fast passes because they kept saying "see agent", which was weird because mine had worked earlier. Sure enough, another L came, and just crawled underneath and got on.

"Idol Gives Back" was LONG, but it was good. It almost made me crying seeing the lives of people in New Orleans and Africa. One of the most touching moments was the finale where they sang "Shout to the Lord".
